The World Bodypainting Festival 2011 photos

A model is less than the annual World Body Painting Festival in Poertschach, Austria, July 2 ,2011. World Bank body painting festival in Austria is the largest art exhibition in bodypaiting theme. Since its inception in 1998, visitors flocked to the event to admire the wild works by artists from over 40 nations worldwide. Tens of thousands of visitors attended the 2011 event in Portschach along Lake Worth near the state capital, Klagenfurt.

The festival has been going since 1998 and this year drew the body painting artists from 40 different nations. The artist paints a nude human body, but the body is often covered with a very brief bikini, or a G-string Among other things, a large body painting work is measured by how successful the artist hides the private parts of the subject.

Before the main days WBF-Academy organizes a wide range of workshop classes and demonstration programs. Photo shooting workshops, digital art and special programs that Nikon will be available for photographers.
